Development, Reconciliation, and Unity Take Center Stage in Lofa County
Lofa County, Liberia – President Joseph Nyuma Boakai, alongside Deputy Speaker Thomas Fallah, has officially inaugurated the newly constructed Lofa Resting Center—a comprehensive public facility aimed at enhancing transportation, safety, and economic activity in the region.
The multi-purpose center, championed by Deputy Speaker Fallah, includes a fully functional police station, a modern roadside rest facility, a spacious market building, and the provision of 64 new motorbikes to local leaders. These resources are expected to improve mobility, security, and service delivery in remote communities across Lofa.
Located at the strategic St. Paul Bridge in Beyan Town, within Salayea Administrative District, the Lofa Resting Center is set to become a vital junction for traders, travelers, and residents, reinforcing the government’s commitment to grassroots development.
Beyond infrastructure, the day also marked a notable moment of reconciliation. Deputy Speaker Fallah and Internal Affairs Minister Francis Nyamalin used the occasion to publicly mend past differences and pledge a renewed partnership for the betterment of the county.
“We must look beyond personal issues and unite for the sake of our people,” Fallah stated, affirming his strong support for President Boakai’s national development agenda.
Adding to the wave of support, former Labor Minister Moses Y. Kollie confirmed his endorsement of the Boakai-led administration, validating recent online statements reflecting his alignment with the President’s vision.
The unveiling of the Lofa Resting Center stands as both a physical and symbolic step forward—demonstrating the power of unity, leadership, and a shared commitment to progress in Liberia’s heartland.
